2012: Had to do more work on an oversized collage
that stretches from floor to ceiling at The
Old Oak Tap. It originally wrapped around the kitchen
door. It recently got moved and covered, so I had to fill
the now vacant space. The whole collage I estimate at about
1,000 photos. As you can imagine, photos don’t do
justice to an up close look. Here’s
some crap shots from my iPhone...
April 2012: Did a new poster
for the School
of Rock Chicago. It’s for their upcoming Rock
Operas & Musicals recital. My instructions verbatim
were that it “Needs to be kinda gay and badass at
the same time.” I think I succeeded. Check for yourself.
March 2012: Boring month other
than a rad road trip thru Kentucky and Tennessee. It resulted
in THIS!
Be sure to check out my Tumblr
account for photos from this and my previous travels.

February 2012: Photo show this
month with Joe
Malone at darkroom
in Chicago. We’re calling it “Smile
from the Streets You Hold” since it's mainly street
photos. It’s taken from the 2nd
John Frusciante solo album. More travels! Headed out
west as usual per this time of year. Lots of photo excursions
around the hoods of LA. Made my third visit to Hicksville
Trailer Palace. Threw together a few clips of our 3
day stay. One
with daytime clips and one
of night time debauchery. And yes, that is indeed Four
Loko we are imbibing. The daytime video is going to be included
in the next installment of 3MM.
January 2012: Winter = vacation
and travels. Hit up the Okefenokee Swamps while I was down
in Florida visiting family. Here’s
a quick short I threw together of the ride through the
canals...
December 2011: Finished a large
scale mixed media commission. They gave me free reign which
was nice. 8’ x 5’ to be hung on the main wall
of their house in between floors of the split levels. No
real good pictures as of yet except for these. Also did
some commissioned paintings for a friend. They’re
intended as gifts for his older and younger sister. He’s
a fan of my giraffe work and wanted me to create portraits
of them as giraffes. He provided the scenarios, as they
are personal moments between himself and each sister. They
turned out rather creepy. Take a look for yourself. Hope
the sisters don’t mind creepy. Merry Christmas all!
I’ll be adding this year’s X-Mas card below
once it’s done and mailed out to friends and family...
